THE STORY
Circumstances of death
On October 28, 1988, Garda Conroy was undergoing official motorcycle training at the Garda Training Centre. While traveling from Tullamore to Birr, Garda Conroy's motorcycle went out of control and crashed into an oncoming car. Garda Conroy died from injuries sustained in the accident.
